Terms & Conditions

These terms explain how working with GiGi Web Design works. If anything here is unclear, email us at connect@gigiwebdesign.com before you sign up.

1. Our services

GiGi Web Design, run by Gabrielle and Goldie Ward, designs, builds, and looks after websites. You can pay for a website through our $298 monthly all-in-one plan or as a one-time project. We also offer logo and branding work, advertising, SEO, and social media services, which are quoted separately.

2. The monthly all-in-one plan

The all-in-one plan is $298 a month with no up-front payment and no long-term contract. It renews each month. The plan is for business websites. Online stores, booking sites, and custom builds are handled as one-time projects.

Each month, the plan includes:

  • Hosting, updates, backups, and security monitoring for your website.
  • Unlimited small edits, meaning routine changes such as text edits, image swaps, link updates, and small content changes. We complete these within 24 hours of a request received on a business day.
  • Up to 4 hours of additional work, such as new sections, layout changes, or small feature updates. Unused hours don't roll over to the next month.
  • Setup of your site for search engines and AI tools, including structured data, a sitemap, robots.txt, and an llms.txt file.

3. Work beyond the included hours

Work beyond your included hours is billed at $100 an hour. We'll confirm with you before starting anything that would go past them, so you won't get a surprise charge.

4. Canceling the monthly plan

You or GiGi Web Design can cancel the monthly plan by giving 30 days' written notice before the next billing date. Email is fine.

5. Your website if you cancel

On the monthly plan, GiGi Web Design owns the website's design and code while your plan is active. You always keep your domain name and the content you gave us, including your text, photos, and logo. If we manage your domain for you, we'll help you move it to an account you control.

When your plan ends, you can choose one of these options:

  • Buy your website: pay a one-time buyout fee of $1,500. We'll hand over your website's files, and you can then host it wherever you like. Hosting and upkeep are then your responsibility.
  • Don't buy it: we'll take the website offline when your plan ends and give you a copy of your content if you ask.

6. 30-day money-back guarantee

If you're not happy with the monthly plan within 30 days of your first payment, tell us in writing and we'll refund the plan payments you've made. The guarantee doesn't cover separately quoted work or fees you've paid to other companies. A refund ends your plan, so section 5 applies: to keep the website after a refund, you'd pay the buyout fee.

7. One-time projects

We'll confirm the price and what's included for one-time projects before work starts. Prices shown on our website are starting prices, and your final price depends on what your project needs. Hosting and ongoing upkeep aren't part of a one-time project unless you add a management plan.

8. Management plans

Our Basic ($75 a month) and Plus ($150 a month) management plans look after websites built as one-time projects. Plus includes up to 1 hour of content edits each month, and unused time doesn't roll over. Other work is quoted or billed at our standard rate after we confirm it with you.

9. What's not included

The monthly and management plans don't include:

  • Creating social media content or managing social media accounts.
  • Creating, running, or paying for advertising campaigns.
  • Ongoing SEO, such as regular articles or backlink work.
  • Setting up or managing CRM systems or marketing automation.

We can connect tools you already use to your website, such as forms, scheduling, analytics, and payment links. Help beyond connecting them can be quoted separately. Fees charged by other companies, such as Shopify or ad platforms, are your responsibility.

10. No guaranteed results

We work hard to build websites that perform well, but we can't guarantee specific search rankings, placement in AI tools, traffic, leads, or sales.

11. Your content

You're responsible for making sure you have the right to use the text, photos, logos, and other content you give us.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll post the new version here with a new effective date.
